Lee Eisenberg, M.D. - CPT Coding Advisor
Dr. Eisenberg has extensive experience in coding, practice expense, relative value development and practice management. He has been a member of the American Medical Association's (AMA) CPT Editorial Panel since 1995 and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 1999. He represents the Panel at the Relative Value Update Committee (RUC) and serves on the AMA's Practice Expense Advisory Panel (PEAC).
Dr. Eisenberg maintains a clinical practice in Englewood, NJ and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and The University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ. Recent publications include The Business of Medicine, Coding for Sleep Disorders and CPT and ICD-9 Procedure and Diagnosis Coding in Practice Management.
