Matthew K. Maurer - Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Mr. Maurer is responsible for managing the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure in a manner consistent with the company's mission and business model. His unique ability to effectively balance technology and business adds tremendous value to ExaMedIT and its customers.

Mr. Maurer has more than eleven years of IT experience that includes competency across all aspects of the IT industry including: Technology Strategy and Infrastructure, Project and Resource Management, Internet Design and Development, Software Design and Development, Database Design and Development, Networking, Integration and Architecture, Hardware/Software Evaluation and Procurement.

Prior to joining ExaMedIT, Mr. Maurer was the CTO of MrxOnline and served as President and CEO of Spectrum Solutions, Inc., an IT consulting company founded in 1994 by Mr. Maurer that provided technical solutions for major clients such as Equitable, Amoco, and Time Warner/AOL. Past achievements include designing and developing high-volume transactional interfaces and databases for mission-critical systems such as a CRM package for Turner Home Satellite with live signal authorizations and a CRM billing system for Turner Network Sales generating over $1 billion a year in revenue.

Mr. Maurer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems (C.I.S.), in which he graduated valedictorian, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with an emphasis in Management Information Systems (M.I.S).
