Mark Painter- CEO

Mark N. Painter is also President of Relative Value Studies, Incorporated (RVSI) -- a nationally recognized health data firm and think tank established in 1983. In addition, Mark is the Vice President of Coding and Reimbursement Information for Physician Reimbursement Systems.

RVSI is best known for the development of all data and editorial content of Relative Values for Physicians (RVP) published by St. Anthony Publishing, Inc. Mr. Painter's extensive knowledge of physician reimbursement issues has allowed him to assist insurance companies, physicians and their staff members, legal counsel, actuaries and consultants on a daily basis.

Mr. Painter has a solid medical and statistical background. He is the principal editor of the Relative Values for Physicians national newsletter devoted to new and difficult issues in the arena of physician reimbursement. Mark lectures nationwide on topics related to coding and reimbursement, contract medicine, and the future of the health care industry. He also manages the American College of Surgeons Coding Hotline which is staffed by reimbursement specialists.

Mr. Painter received his BA from Grinnell College at Grinnell, Iowa and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Business.
