Vernon Walters, M.D. - Payor Relations Advisor

Dr. Walters, a native of Colorado, is ExaMedIT's Payor Relations Advisor. He was in private practice in Pediatrics in Colorado for nearly 20 years and has been listed in the Denver Business Journal over the past several years as one of the outstanding persons in the medical community.

Dr. Waters is Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and for the past 12 years he has been the Medical Director and Vice President for Cigna HealthCare, in both Texas and Colorado. He was the Chairman of the National Technology Assessment committee for Cigna HealthCare. Through his work and membership on various national boards and committees, both within and outside of Cigna, he has developed a national and international reputation over the past thirty-five years for his practice in medicine
